Current Visitor Guidelines
As of April 19, 2022, Lower Keys Medical Center has resumed normal visiting hours from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
We welcome one visitor per patient, at a time, in all of our patient care areas including the emergency department and labor & delivery.
One guest is permitted to accompany an individual for outpatient procedures.
COVID-19 positive patients may have one designated visitor for a duration of 2 hours per day. Additional visitation time may be approved by exception. Visitors must abide by personal protective equipment protocols while visiting patients on isolation. Visitors should only visit the patient they are caring for and should not go to other locations within the facility.
Daily visiting hours at the DePoo campus are as follows:
- 2nd Floor: 3 – 4 p.m.
- 3rd Floor: 1 – 2 p.m.
- Visitation by a designated essential caregiver is permitted for at least 2 hours if requested by the patient
Exceptions may apply in special circumstances and will be determined by the nursing supervisor on shift.
Visitors must:
- Be 16 years of age or older
- Be screened on arrival
- Remain masked at all times
Entry to Lower Keys Medical Center is limited to the main hospital entrance, from 5:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. After 7 p.m. all patrons must enter and exit through the emergency department as the main lobby will be closed.
Visitors who violate the policies and procedures may be asked to leave the facility.
The visitation policy is subject to change based upon CDC recommendations and the county and hospital positivity rates.
