Our maternity services are provided by obstetricians, labor and delivery specialists, nurses and other caring professionals in a welcoming, comfortable environment.
You'll find the full spectrum of care from prenatal to post-partum care. Our comprehensive care extends beyond delivery, with a full range of educational resources for new parents.
Lower Keys Medical Center's comprehensive care begins in the earliest stages of pregnancy, with prenatal checkups and services tailored to your specific needs. You'll learn about proper nutrition and work with your obstetrician to develop a birth plan, choose a pediatrician, and get properly prepared.
Labor and Delivery
Our delivery rooms provide everything doctors, nurses and other maternal specialists need to provide you with excellent care. Experienced labor and delivery staff utilize advanced medical technology, and manage C-section (cesarean) births and other surgical procedures.
This is an intense class and one of the most important of our educational series. The class will prepare you for the challenges of birth. Classes are offered on a Saturday once a month. There is a limit of 6 partners per class. All expectant mothers should be at least 7 months pregnant at the time of the class. You will be contacted if we are unable to accommodate you or if we reach our 6 partner limit. All classes are free. Click here to register for one of our childbirth classes.
This class will cover breastfeeding benefits for mom and baby, breastfeeding basics and common challenges. A little learning can go a long way towards building your knowledge and comfort level. Let us help you reach your breastfeeding goals. Classes are offered for expectant and new mothers. We also offer one on one times during the month. Bring your new newborn. Women only.
