Our Medical/Surgical unit is a 30-bed patient care area located on our third floor and a 12-bed unit that admits pediatric patients ages 0-18 years of age is located on our second floor. The units consist of private and semi-private patient rooms. The third floor unit is divided into two 15 bed modules.
The age groups served on our Medical/Surgical Unit range from neonate to geriatrics. Patients who are 0 to 18 years of age are concentrated on the Medical Surgical Pediatric Unit whenever possible. All major ethnic and cultural groups are present in our patient population.
Our units are staffed by Registered Nurses, LPN II’s, Nursing Assistants, and Unit Clerks. All work together as a team to deliver the absolute highest level of care for our patients.
